Soveren Cyber was founded in 2026 — but our experience goes back much further. Our team’s passion for cyber security shows in everything we do.
We’re a collective of highly skilled cyber security contractors based across South Africa, primarily in Cape Town and Johannesburg, bringing together a broad network of expertise and years of experience across industries and organisations of every size. Each of our contractors is cross-skilled across multiple cyber domains, uniquely positioning us to advise and assist on everything from everyday cyber concerns to specialised, niche areas.
To extend our reach further, we’ve partnered with a number of acclaimed cyber security consultancies specialising in security testing (penetration testing), security operations, cyber defence and prevention, data privacy, and cyber forensics. We also have a King IV specialist on our team. Collectively, our people hold extensive industry certifications alongside honours and master’s degrees in business management and cyber-related fields.
We care deeply about our communities, and we give back through pro bono education and awareness initiatives wherever we can.
Our aim is simple: to make cyber security uncomplicated. It’s a complex field, crowded with “must-have” offerings, acronyms, products, tools and opinions — easy to find overwhelming. That’s where we come in, offering straightforward advice without unnecessary package padding for services you don’t actually need.
